The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 4.4
Gadwin PrintScreen is a free Windows application that captures images from the screen as well as from applications. It differs from Windows’ “Print Screen” function in that it has more helpful features such as capturing a specific area and customizable keys associated to different options.
The program allows users to readjust a capture region without having to start over. The free version of the program lacks an image editor but options like the hotkey combos, instant screen printing, automatic saving and others make it a great program.
Gadwin PrintScreen sets automatically by default as the “PrintScreen” button and captures to the clipboard, but, as said before, this can be changed. The program also saves automatically the captured images in a specified folder and can send the images through the chosen e-mail client.
In this version the users can choose from six different image formats, and each one can be resized. Additionally, Windows Seven compatibility has been added and a zooming option to resize the current capture.
This is one of the best free choices, though there are reported issues about disappearing the cursor, disability to zoom back, and Windows 7 32 bit closing issues. |

What's new in version 4.4
